Family First Psychology was founded on a simple idea: psychological care should be practical, evidence-based and built around real life. From our clinic in Murrumbeena and via telehealth, we bring therapy and psychological assessments together under one roof for children, adolescents and adults, working with you one-on-one and, where it helps, with your whole family.
Founder & Clinical Psychologist
Eytan founded Family First Psychology after years of working across schools, public health services and private practice, including Lifeline Australia, Brisbane Catholic Education, Gold Coast Health and Monash Health. He has run the clinic full-time since July 2025.
His work draws on CBT, ACT, mindfulness, attachment-informed approaches and EMDR-informed trauma therapy, always with a focus on practical strategies that fit into everyday family life.
Where Eytan has worked and trained
Every plan starts with the same question: what will actually work for you at home, at school or at work?
We draw on proven, evidence-based therapies and turn them into practical strategies you can start using straight away. Not just insight for its own sake.
Shift unhelpful thoughts and habits with practical, structured tools.
Make room for hard feelings and act on what matters most to you.
Simple, evidence-based strategies for stress, worry and big feelings.
Build stronger, safer relationships between children and the adults around them.
Support to process difficult experiences and trauma.
Skills and routines that make everyday family life easier.
With your consent, our team works alongside your GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist and, where relevant, your child's school.
That way, everyone supporting you or your child is working towards the same goals, and you're not left repeating your story or joining the dots yourself.
